I can’t wait for the new season to come to Australia 🙂
So as we know, Henry Taylor has been shot, and Jack works to keep him breathing as the police and EMTs arrive. Jack gets on the horn with the president letting her know that Dubaku is on his way out and will try to leave the country. Once he gets out, he’ll be gone forever, or so Jack believes. Henry’s daughter is brought to see her (potentially dying) dad.
Dubaku then meets Marika behind the diner and tells her that his visa expired so he needs her help to get him out. Marika is reluctant to leave behind Rosa, but is assured that they’ll be reunited at some point along the way. Faced with having to make the decision now, she agrees. Dubaku then uses his contact with his government somebody and arranges a flight path out and claims that the mission is over. Knowing that his contact has him surrounded, he says that if anything happens to him or his girlfriend he’ll expose everyone involved to the Justice Department.
Marika then arrives home to find Rosa in front of the TV, and after starting to pack Jack and Renee bust through the door at gunpoint and demand to know where Dubaku is. Marika feigns ignorance, but Rosa identifies him. Marika is then explained the truth behind Dubaku, and as you might have guessed she’s not too happy about it. Then she gets a call from the man himself and asked to meet up with him. Jack convinces her to go with the driver and says they’ll follow her.
Unfortunately Jack and Renee are trapped in a roadblock formed by the Metro Police, tipped off by the mole in the FBI. Dubaku is told that his girlfriend has betrayed him and that he’ll take care of her himself. Cue dramatic music!
