America’s Got Talent Takes Wednesday Again

“America’s Got Talent” helped NBC take Wednesday night again but this week, it also took the coveted 18-49 demographic by a slim margin over FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance.”
NBC averaged 8.7 million viewers, up 350K from last week, and a 5.3 rating/10 share among households Wednesday night. FOX came in second with 5.8, and a 3.6/7 share. CBS was third with 5.2 million, 3.6/7 and ABC was fourth with 3.6 million, 2.4/4. The CW took 1.0 million viewers and a 0.7/1.
Here’s a breakdown of Wednesday’s ratings:
8 p.m.:
NBC: “America’s Got Talent” rerun (7.3 million viewers, 4.4/8 households)
FOX: “So You Think You Can Dance” (5.8 million, 3.7/7)
ABC: “The Middle” reruns – two episodes (3.98 million, 2.6/5)
CBS: “How I Met Your Mother” rerun (3.6 million, 2.4/5)/”Rules of Engagement” rerun (3.6 million, 2.6/5)
The CW: “America’s Next Top Model” rerun (1.1 million, 0.7/2)
9 p.m.:
NBC: “America’s Got Talent” (12.8 million, 7.4/13)
FOX: “So You Think You Can Dance” (5.9 million, 3.6/6)
CBS: “Criminal Minds” rerun (6.0 million, 4.2/7)
ABC: “Modern Family” rerun (3.9 million, 2.6/5)/”Cougar Town” rerun (2.98 million, 2.1/4)
