It’s been a crazy season 3 at Fort Marshall, on the base where the Army Wives are knee deep in their usual trials and tribulations.
The season 3 finale of Army Wives aired last night and I personally cannot believe that I will have to wait a YEAR to find out what happens to all my favorite characters.
Of course, it’s a great way to ensure that your fans will be returning in 2010 to find out what’s been going on with the army wives (and husbands) at Fort Marshall, but Lifetime, why do you insist on doing this to me every single season finale? You don’t just leave us hanging, I mean– we are truly dangling on a very tiny little thread, about to snap at any minute. Can’t you at least tie up the strings of ONE story? You know, one cliff hanger is truly all a person needs.
Instead, this season 3 finale has cliffhangers for almost every single cast member.
Since Jeremy’s return home from Iraq, he’s been dealing with a lot of survivor guilt. As we watch Jeremy during the last few minutes of the show, he’s taking out his gun. As Frank and Denise return home and are walking up to the door, we here a gun shot and see the light of the gun. What did he do? Cliffhanger.
Chase returns home to find Pamela made good on her threat– her and the kids are gone. He finally shows some emotion and we can’t help but notice now he cares about his family. What will happen with the two of them?
How will Roxy and Trevor survive now that the Hump Bar is off limits to the soldiers? And what about Baby Le Blanc?
Finally, what’s going on with Roland’s partner? Is Joan okay?
Seriously, Lifetime. Too many cliffhangers, but you know what? I’m anxiously anticipating what will happen next season.
