After four weeks of painfully awkward performances, Kate Gosselin was finally voted off of Dancing With The Stars on Tuesday.
Granted, there is a downside, Gosselin was the most fascinating contestant this season, perhaps out of any season, and will be missed for the entertainment value alone.
Kate was sent to the bottom two at the beginning of the show and was subsequently voted off.
She proceeded to get teary-eyed when Tom Bergeron announced she would be leaving. “I need a minute,” she said through her tears.
Her partner Tony Dovolani, who was rumored to have said he wanted to lose if it meant he could get rid of her, stepped in and spoke for her.
“I’m very proud of Kate,” said Dovolani. “I give her all the credit in the world for showing up.”
Kate added, “I’m very honored to have been here.” She also thanked her fans “for believing in me probably more than I believe in myself.”
“Where did the determination come from?” Bergeron asked her as she was getting ready to dance her last dance. “Whatever is worthy of my time, I give it my all,” replied Gosselin.
Famous last words. Well, America probably won’t miss Kate’s dancing, but they will surely miss making fun of it!
