“Law & Order: Criminal Intent” seems to have a revolving door of stars, and now it looks like we’re going around and around once more.
According to Variety, Jeff Glodblum has decided to leave the show and he swears it is not just a negotiating tactic.
Goldblum’s decision to leave comes after only two years on the USA cop-drama. Goldblum’s option with the show had expired and his reps say he decided to exit “due to the uncertainty” surrounding the serie’s future. His parting is said to be an amicable one.
The ninth season finale of “Law and Order: Criminal Intent” aired on July 6 but USA has still not renewed the series for a tenth.
Last season, Vincent D’Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe and Eric Bogosian left the show, while Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Saffron Burrows joined the cast. Goldblum had entered a year earlier, to fill the void left by long-time series regular Chris Noth.
Glodblum will appear in the feature films “The Switch” and “Morning Glory” later this year.
