The following is a guest post from Onlocationvacations.com.
Mischa Barton has been released from the hospital and will be on the set of her new series The Beautiful Life when it officially begins filming today. They are scheduled to film in studio on Friday but should be on location in Brooklyn at Water & Dock Sts in Dumbo, Brooklyn on Saturday.
Mischa, who starred in The O.C., was hospitalized on July 15th for an undisclosed medical problem. A source recently told E! that she tried to kill herself after being being fired form The Beautiful Life. “She tried to kill herself,” claims the source close to Barton, who also asserts that Mischa had also been let go—and later rehired—from the soap.
Barton is back in the cast of The CW soap and is doing well according to the show’s creator, Ashton Kutcher. Her rep denies that she was suicidal or fired. “She was never fired and rehired, but has had the role of Sonja [in The Beautiful Life] all along.” Barton’s rep added: “The network and studio have been supportive of Mischa’s casting and subsequent recovery all along.”
It seems the highly anticipated soap has already had its fill of drama and they haven’t even filmed its second episode yet. Could Barton’s troubles be a publicity stunt or is the starlet really in trouble? Will you watch The Beautiful Life? Let us know below!
