When Netflix first announced streaming plans for the Xbox 360 I was a bit bummed due to the fact that it was going to be for the only console of the current generation that I don’t own. However there may still be hope! A new survey released into the wild indicates that Netflix may be planning to launch streaming service for the Wii in the not so distant future. The survey states that you would be required to buy a “Netflix Instant Streaming Disc” for $9.99. You then pop the disc in whenever you want to watch Netflix on the Wii console.

Although Netflix hasn’t suggested or even hinted at any plans for the PS3 yet, they may not be far behind. If they do announce plans for the PS3 it will be interesting to see if Sony intervenes considering the fact that they have their own budding failing VOD service.
