Party of Five and Seventh Heaven star Jeremy London recently discussed his recent abduction at gunpoint in Palm Springs, CA two weeks ago.
London recently told Radar Online that “It’s been an absolute nightmare. ” He also reassured the public, that despite statements made by his family, he was in fact abducted. “First of all, I want to say [the incident] actually did happen. It was one of the worst days of my life. I thought I was going to die. Thank God I made it out alive,” he added.
“I had a gun put to my head,” he explained. “I had my family threatened. We’re working closely with the Palm Springs Police Department to get the rest of the guys. There’s one guy in custody. There’s two more out there.”
London has had a series of difficulties recently, including a stint in rehab and a nasty custody battle over his 3-year-old son Lyric.
London continued to lash out at his other, twin brother Jason and his brother’s girlfriend, saying they were spreading “outrageous lies” about the kidnapping. The family has publicly stated they don’t believe Jeremy was kidnapped and hope he seeks help. But, he says he hasn’t spoken to his family in six months and has sent legal threats to his family to stop talking to the press.
Meanwhile, the Palm Springs Police Department has said they don’t have any reason not to believe Jeremy’s story. Palm Springs Police spokeswoman Melissa Desmarais said, “Our investigators had enough information to arrest a suspect and the investigation is ongoing.”
