Samuel L. Jackson is taking on his first TV project and he’s teaming up with an unlikely partner, The CW.
Jackson and executive producer David Loughery are reportedly developing a detective drama at the teen/female-oriented network.
The project is entitled Hackshaw and follows a twentysomething man who believes he’s a relative of Sherlock Holmes or that he may actually be the great detective. Given his beliefs, the man’s psychiatrist believes he suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder.
To thicken the plot, a young police officer, who also happens to be the sister of the psychiatrist, learns Hackshaw can help her solve crimes, which also comes with plenty of sexual tension.
Jackson is executive producing the project through his UppiTV unit. Amanda Tracey of UppiTV is also an executive producer.
