HBO’s Big Love is gearing up for the fourth season and with the newest season are some new additions to the cast.
If you’ve never had a chance to catch Big Love, it’s about a modern family practicing polygamy in the real world sector, outside for the polygamous colonies. The show focuses on the dynamics of living in a polygamous family, from various points of view, like the children, the wives, and of course, the husband. It also focuses on how society views the polygamous lifestyle and the colony that they broke away from.
All in all, it’s such a crazy show with so many amazing twists and plots that you cannot help but fall in love.
And now award winning Sissy Spacek will be joining the cast. Her character will be a powerful Washington DC lobbyist.
Spacek has a whopping six Academy Award nominations for her memorable roles in films such as “Carrie,” “Crimes of the Heart,” and “In the Bedroom,” and she won the Best Actress statuette for her indelible portrayal of Loretta Lynn in 1980’s “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” The actress was just at the Toronto film festival promoting her latest feature, “Get Low.”
But Spacek is not the only new cast member to join “Big Love”. Some of other actors cast include Bella Thorne, who will replace Jolean Wejbe as Barb and Bill’s youngest daughter Teenie, and Ben Koldyke as Dale, a state-appointed trustee and love interest for Alby (Matt Ross).
Big Love is slated to begin its fourth season early next year and I, for one, cannot wait.
