Get ready, another season of the Emmy-award-winning series, Survivor, is headed our way this month, and for the first time ever, we’ll be able to view Survivor in high definition.
“Shooting in HD is like adding another character to the show. The detail is so sharp you can’t help but feel as though you are experiencing the adventure yourself,” host Jeff Probst said in a press release.
We may be prepared to watch 18 castaways compete for the million-dollar prize on Survivor: Gabon — Earth’s Last Eden, but once the castaways set foot in Africa, will they be ready to live among some of the most dangerous wildlife for a million dollars? That’s right, starting September 25 we’ll get to watch the fierce competition and see how the castaways react to elephants, hippos, leopards, gorillas and other African wildlife that might pay a visit to their camp.
Whose torch will be snuffed out first? Will there be another Exile Island or a whole new twist? Will there be another “showmance?” Will the lawyers be able to use their talents to get far in the game? How about the Olympic gold medalist and personal trainer, will those two castaways be able to use their athletic abilities to win tons of challenges and immunities, or will their tribe mates see their abilities as a threat and vote them out early? Find out the answers by tuning in to Survivor: Gabon — Earth’s Last Eden, which begins with a special two-hour episode on September 25 at 8:00 pm/ET.
