It’s tough to succeed in news these days. Appetites are tougher to predict as consumer behaviors and desires shift to operate in a recessionary period, and TV networks and newspapers alike take blows as advertisers pull out from frivolous marketing campaigns as they hunker down for what could be a long one. Former news staples in my area like the Philadelphia Inquirer have been forced into bankruptcy With all of this changing in the industry, it’s not surprising that many are interested in finding out what’s going on in the industry and most importantly what works today.
Tammy Haddad will be moderating the first session for the day and she’ll be joined by other early adopters. These include Jim Long, Rachel Sterne, Michael Meyers, and Rick Klein. All of them will speak to what’s changing in news and what will be important down the line to keep everyone informed and happy.
So if you’re interested in learning more about how the sector worth, I’d suggest heading over to Media Bistro, as they’ll be covering the event in full.Well as full as they can handle anyway!
