If you’ve never watched Chuck, you’re likely missing out on one of the few action-comedy television series that I’ve come across and enjoyed. The show, which revolves around the world’s most unlikely (and reluctant) CIA government operative, hasn’t been around that long. It actually first started back on September 24, 2007. It was surprisingly well received, and not long after NBC had announced a full season pickup of 22 episodes. It was later picked up for a second season, which began on September 29, 2008, also 22 episodes. You may be wondering where you can watch the show online, as I undoubtedly was, but you may have some challenges.
Watching a brand new popular show like Chuck, it can be tough to locate episodes online. Networks tend to be much more aggressive in shutting down unauthorized streaming, as sites like megavideo.com and fan sites that sprouted up around the show have quickly found out. NBC’s main portal site does have the latest episodes right here. That should allow you to catch up if you missed an episode or two, but you’ll be out of look if you’re looking for first-season stuff.
For it’s part, the popular media site Hulu has a variety of full length season 2 episodes at your disposal. It also has a good number of episode recaps and news clips as well as some other media information related to the show. Not perfect, but what can be, right?
On a lark, I hopped over to Netflix to see if they had anything to offer on the Chuck front, not really expecting anything but I thought it’d be worth having a peek. Surprisingly they have the season 1 dvd in stock, so if you’re already a member you can pick up on the show in no time at all. If you don’t have netflix just yet, perhaps it’s time to give it a try!
