If you thought that the market for a series revolving around a group of crime investigators, it appears that you’d be wrong. Despite so many other shows like it, Life has garnered a pretty solid fan base. The show was created by Rand Ravich and Far Shariat, and focuses on a detective who is given a second chance at life after serving time in prison for a crime he apparently didn’t commit. Pretty straightforward, yes?
The main character, Charlie Crews (Played by Damin Lewis, who was phenomenal in Band of Brothers, my favorite character in fact) returns to the force, and his time in jail has given him a rather balanced look on life. Despite that outlook of course, he’s still look into murder he was falsely accused of, which sets the show up for some interesting storylines from the get go. Crews’ odd mannerisms are part of what makes the series so endearing, and a lot fans have begun to sprout up, prompting NBC to keep on producing episodes at a time when many are starting to get the axe (looking at you My Own Worst Enemy)
If you’re looking to catch the show online, you do have some options available to you. Life episodes are currently available on NBC’s official site right here. They have all the information you could ever want about the show and it’s cast, as well as some silly flash games if you’re bored and want to kill some time.
As an alternative, you can always check out Fan Cast for the latest and greatest episodes pertaining to the show. Fan cast is a great archive of episodes past and present, and pulls together streaming sources from around the internet. From what I can see, most of the episodes are pulled from Hulu, so that’s worth a looksie as well.
