What To Watch On TV Tuesday, September 21, 2010

Get your DVR ready, day two of the new fall season is underway, and we have tonight’s top choices.

Fox 8 PM
As usual, the Glee kids have the blues again, this time its because they only placed third at regionals. They do have some new blood though, maybe that will perk them up. Transfer student Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) and exchange student Sunshine Corazon (Charice) join the group while Principal Figgins is threatening more budget cuts. We’ll also meet the new football coach, Shannon Beiste (Dot Marie Jones), who has it in for the glee club and Sue’s Cheerios.

Raising Hope
Fox 9 PM
In tonight’s premiere episode, twentysomething Jimmy gets a surprise after a one-night stand makes him a single dad. He’s not totally in it alone though, he has reinforcements (sort of) in his parents (Martha Plimpton, Garret Dillahunt) and grandmother (Cloris Leachman), who also occasionally likes to go topless.

NCIS: Los Angeles
An agent disappears in tonight’s season two premiere which leads the team forced to work with the LAPD on a case that brings them into the world of human trafficking.

Detroit 1-8-7
The Detroit-based cop show premieres tonight with homicide detective Fitch (Michael Imperioli) and his new partner Washington (Jon Michael Hill) tracking down a suspect in a double murder. There’s one catch, Washington’s wife is due to give birth any minute.
