It seems that the entertainment industry has officially run out of new ideas. Just days after the announcement that “The Munsters” was returning to TV, it was announced that “Wonder Woman” will be hitting the small screen once again too.
According to Deadline.com, David E. Kelley will be producing the show and he has recently met with the DC Comics team, who have also looking for ways to relaunch a “Wonder Woman” TV franchise.
Details of the new series haven’t been released so its still not known whether Wonder Woman will be sporting the old star-spangled blue shorts we remember from the hit ’70s series, or if she’ll be wearing the new redesigned Goth costume announced by DC earlier this year.
Warner Bros has had much recent TV success with DC characters in “Smallville” and “Human Target,” but that doesn’t mean “Wonder Woman” will also be a hit.
So far, there’s been no word on casting or on whether she’ll keep her signature powers and weapons like her indestructible bracelets, Lasso of Truth, tiara and her invisible airplane.
